4* Onlookers sing: Nano waline, Hai Mera Dil Loota

Looks CUTE, Head Turner. Everyone sings: Nano wali ne, Hai Mera Dil Loota.

Performance - City 15 to 17 km / liter; Highway 22+ km / liter

Noise - Debatable: To some youngesters it resembles like sports car or roaring bike, to others starting and idle neutral gear sound is like AAuto Rikshaw.

However overall, It Neighbour’s Envy, Owners Pride

&

brings smiles on every onlooker who Thumps Up after doing pradakshina around it.

One person spends to become Nano prowd owner and smile is on face of even pedestrians looking it as if they are the owners.

My DOT took it to collage and immediate withou couple of hours, she is a celebrety - everyone knows about her and is busy giving review ot everyone.

For dashing and youngsters, they swear to push parents to buy Nano for its Roar which they feel resembles Sports Car. Children love it.

On road, persons in rikshaw/cab, suzuki, santro, swift, innova, Cherevelot, Ford, Honda or lancer, SUVs or Mercedeze or Volksvagon - all virtually slow down vehicles, drive alongside NANO, have a close look, then smile and sign Thumps Up.

On start of the engine, to some, the first irritant is the Noise which sounds like Auto Rikshaw! . For some yonugsters, its like sports car which they love for the starting and speeding ROAR?

Fuel consumption - may be a let down? for many.

The car travelled for over 3000 kilo meters. With A/C on, the average in City is between 15 to 17 km per liter and highway around 22 km per liter.

The space inside compets and almost beats all similar models in 2 to 3.5 lakh price category. No feeling of being cramped. Comfort is relative term. However this is at the expense of dashboard and dicky portion behind back seats - both of which is almost non existent. But convenience is there if driving in a city especially for parking. Dont have to bother about speed in city as every car hardly speeds between 60 to 20.

Absence of power steering and tape in top end model is a minus point.

The second hassal is an engine which hots us quickly and you cant touch the back portion of the car. Besides it is going to be cumbersom to repair the engine or open dicky - if you may call it a dicky after all.

Over All, deserves 3 and half * rating for performance, and if consider value for money, then may be 4 plus * - as no one comes near it by spending even 50K - 75K more. On the whole congratulations to Tatas - not for delayed production or for not keeping the promised price of Rs.1 lakh BUT for at least providing hope to common man that a car around 1.5 lakh is not a distant dream.
