Worst Experience Ever with buying a Product !!!!

I made a mistake of purchasing a Tata Car. All these hype and smiles and happiness is only there till you have bought the car from their dealership. Once sold there ends everything. I tried all possible channels - mails, customer help desk, dealer and service center for help but nobody seem to provide a solution and even worse don’t even have the courtesy to share a response or timely communication regarding the status


My review is based on an issue that popped up after a week of usage and the way Tata Motors and its Dealership along with Service Center failed miserably in resolving the same. The car is a Nexon XZ+ Diesel Manual Top End Variant which was purchased through Trivandrum Motors on Sept 21. From Oct 3 till Nov 5 the car was in service center and still the issue where there is heat coming from the center console is not resolved. Both the service centres(Trivandrum and Focuz) finally did the same procedure where they just put thermal insulation to block the heat. For those so called experts in service centre and Tata motors the center console heating up after driving for a while is NORMAL. I previously owned a Volkswagen and have also driven a Hyundai, Chevrolet and Maruti and none of these cars behaved like this.


Through these 32 days in service center I have sent 17 emails to all the available Tata mailing groups shown in their websites and finally to even Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle President/VP. Not a single response other than the standard template reply from customer call center- we apologize for the inconveniences- each time the only difference is the mail signature. Tata Motors don’t want to deal with customers and the dealership personnel lack professionalism and expertise to diagnose an issue. Finally the service head’s response is that this is not an issue and that I need to live with this. They put some more thermal insulation as directed by a Tata Motors expert and told it’s safe. Before reaching home the console again got heated up.


I don’t think this company or its dealership can help or resolve this issue. The service people even told that it’s a manufacturing defect and hence there is nothing that can be done as Tata Motors themselves don’t have a fix.


If this is how Tata deals with customers then good luck
