I am one day old customer of Tata Sky and I am very disappointed to see poor state of customer care. I got DTH connection to get rid of Cable TV menace but later realize its hardly changed anything in this space. I would like to lodge formal complaint in Tata sky website but discover no real customer logging system in place (no category for complaint, you can write more than 50 word, no email id mention to hear customer complaints). This is very unusual of Tata, which is undoubtedly Indias greatest brand.I would like to bring it to your notice that Tata Sky dealer and agents are giving wrong information about the product, package, subscription and offers. They are cheating gullible / innocent customer at the pretext of terms and conditions.
I got the connection at Xmas 08 and I was told that one month subscription worth of Rs 260 would be free but day later I come to know that this is not true. (This offer was available if you pay by card not by cash). There are no option to disconnect and get refund (part or full) if you are not happy. Ive lodged my complaint to Tatasky nodal office and waiting for their response. I am not very hopeful after this incident.
Please exercise require caution on Tata Sky and ask necessary question. You will get the product and installation in day time but what store inside thats depends on your luck.
