6 Months ago I got myself freed from the Hard Hit Monopoly of Local Cable wala.
Hundereds of calls to him for the Unviewable channels( so called 150 channels shown by him) but we were hardly able to watch above 25 as after that there was all we could see was the snow Imagine he could have charged us extra for that( peak summers & snow fall at ur home at no extra cost ;-)
Then we desperately started looking for some alternative & Tata Sky was just launched at that point of time. Dish T.V was already operational but Neighbours had a better opinion.
Call to Tata Sky was made from BSNL Toll Free No & by Evening we had the DigiComp at our residence. Four your Informatio Digi Com is the name given to set top box by Tata Sky.
Call for Installation was logged at their contact centre( First time I heard Hi! from a contact centre & I knew this is something Different) Generally they greet you with a long, old script which is so boring. Agents are really very courtseous & friendly. [ Chandhigarh Calling;-) ]
Next day we had a Installation team in a white maruti van equipped even with a portable genset to operate their Drill Machine in case there is a electricity failure at your residence. Mini Dish was Installed & all wiring neatly done. Amazing Service
I could not Believe my eyes for Picture Quality!( my cable wala has really Tourtered me for Years for freezing me with all the snow) but there was a Limitation we had two T.Vs & for another T.V to be operational e needed another Digicom .
I was so overwhelmed by the Quality of the picture that next week spent another 3000 bucks for my second Digicomp.
Same day proudly called my cable wala & asked him to remove his cables from my Home.
Believe me you my all neighbours( around 15 of them) now have Tata Sky at their Homes & Happy.
Cable wala used to charge me around Rs 300 pm & now I am paying around 350 pm for two T.Vs & really happy to be part of Tat Sky Family.
Earlier I used to check the programmes in news paper but now I can do that on my T.V itself .
Really Value for money. Life is Jingalala now.
HAR HAR MAHADEV!
