I have a tatasky TV for the past 3 years. Also it was a package of south on which I was supposed to get the south Indian channels. From end of august 2010 till 2nd of September 2010 I found that a few major channels (Sun TV, Vijay TV, Gemini TV, Gemini Music) were not working and on sep 2nd I gave a complaint to the Tatasky TV customer care stating that I have problems in the viewing of the channel. I was assured that the customer support engineer will visit within 48 to 72 hours and sort out the issue. Also I entered the problem in the Tatasky site. (Ref no. SR0209100383366)
After waiting, on 4th (Saturday) I got a call from the customer support asking about the problem based on the complaint I registered in the site. I intimated to them about the telecon after lodging a complaint in the site. They gave me an assurance that by Monday the problem will be attended.
I waited till Monday and Tuesday again I made a call to the tatasky customer service. They again gave a promise that they will attend the issue immediately.
Suddenly on 7th September I got a sms stating that TATA SKY is delighted to have served me (Whereas nobody called me at all). Again I called the customer care and intimated about the same. It was told to me that they are escalating it and it will be attended in priority.
On 8th evening 3.02 pm I got a sms from the tatasky stating that they have scheduled based on the request ref no (1-7559417554) by 12 pm in the afternoon (Time has elapsed 3 hours before). I again called the TATASKY Customer care and questioned about this time. They felt sorry and told it will be addressed immediately. But till 6pm nothing happened. Seeing this I again the customer care by around 6.30 pm and questioned about this. After listening to the whole story they gave an assurance that they will try to sort it out and since some more details are required for the tracking of issue and will revert to me within 4 hours. I waited till 10.30 in the night and called back again.
That time the customer care executive patiently listened to me and told that they are escalating the matter and by around 10 am on 9th morning I will get a call from the engineer and after that they will attend the problem at my residence on 9th. Till now there is no call and no engineer has visited till now.
Kindly do not believe such cheats who waste your time and money as well as energy. You will keep on following up with them without any result.
Hope the concerned members of TATASKY Read this and take necessary action if they are really interested in customer care.
