First of all I want to make it clear that my overall experience with Tata Sky has been very good so far . The service has been consistent and I do like their offers like Jingalala saturdays etc .
However there have been couple of recent incidents which has forced me to reconsider my views:
Not sure what kind of up-gradation they are doing to their signal but the TV is not working so far . It takes a long time to connect to their customer care .
Finally after 4 days some service guy came from nowhere . I say no where because we were not even aware someone is going to come . When he came I asked him to go down and get the Building Roof keys from the guard( I had talked to the guard to give him the keys) . He said he will go and get the keys . And did you know what he did .HE JUST LEFT . If he did not want to do that he could have told me .I would have gone myself . If I was aware he is going to come I would have kept the keys with me before hand . There has to be some intimation to your customer about an expected visit .
This is extremely unprofessional behavior from Tata Sky .First of all due to their fault I am paying for the service that I am not receiving and then I am kept waiting by their service guys when they turn up and just leave . In the end everyone looses . They lost customer good will and I am still left with a non functional TATA sky connection.
Update on 7 April: Now they have apparently blocked my registered number . When I dial their customer care I get an automated message saying "Incovenience is regretted . We will solve your problem ASAP and then the call is disconnected " . So as of now I have no way to contact them .or get any advance intimation of their service guy visit . So much for Customer service .
TATA SKY if you are by any chance reading this remember best publicity /marketing is word of mouth and you are losing that big time .
