False Commitment and Cheaters

I called Tata sky customer care on 3rd Aug 2012 regarding relocation of my Tatasky dish and want to know about service and charges (actually at that time I have no knowledge about this). Operator that was connected at that time (3rd Aug approx. 7:00 PM) told me that this service is free for you and no charges will be levied to you for de-installation and re-installation and it will be totally free of charge. Then only I agree for de-install/re-install work order and it was scheduled for next day.


Next day when I called again and talked to operator he told me it will be charged Rs175 and I told him yesterday it was told to me by another operator that it is free of charge. And then he connected me to his senior on call and then it was told to me that they will check call recording and if it was told to me by operator then no charges will be levied. Installation completed on 5th Aug and today on 8th Aug I got SMS about charges of Rs 175 for de-installation and Rs 175 for Re-installation.


My question is when it was already conveyed by tata sky operator that these services will be free of charge to me then why Rs175 + Rs175 charged from my account?


My first work order was 1-15659761792 on 3rd Aug. Operator told me that this service is free of cost to you.


They behave simply like a cheaters. Once committed for anything they don’t fulfill. I called so many times and also got so many calls from their customer care but what they commit on call they don’t change status or update system same way. They are just manipulating their defined process requirement and not resolving my concerns and issues. I lost Rs 350 just because of their mistake.


Didn’t expect this kind of service from Tata brand. Literally frustrating me.
