Please check my review on DishTV in this same site. I use both. The equipment quality and the installation are really superb with Tata compared to DishTV. There are bugs in software as in DishTV.
Only one favourite group. This is a big problem if you have many members in family.
Limited channels in favourite. You cannot add more than 20 favourite channels.
System bootup time is more. And its not so easy for elder people to handle the remote.
The remote is nice but its complicated for elder people.
Games are nice, and kids for sure will spoil their eyes.
Programme information is much better than in DishTV. this give for one week.
No foreign channels.
Its much expensive than cable.
I dont have any issue with customer care. Its good. I dont know many users says opposite.
The bottom line is if you are comparing with your cable, then you will be frustrated with DTH. And we Indians has to wait for next century to get Conditional access system to be implemented by our great Democratic Beurocratic , corrupted country government.
