I recently disconnected my tata sky connection.
Whenever it rains it gives me problems. Sometime the picture will freeze or the audio will be an issue. I am paying around 300 rs upfront for watching channels not to get these type of problems specially when I am at home and I have no where to go.
If I have an other issue and I file a complain they say they will send a technician who comes 2 days later. What do I do for those 2 days. I don’t even get a refund for those days.
Local Cable operator is far better then this. I get complete channels for a base price of Rs. 200, no addONs required. If there is a problem all I have to do is call the guy and within d same day a technician comes and fixes the problem for no charge. Plus I also realized that local cable also gives me the news for my city which Tata Sky could not provide.
So all in all please do consider going for your local cable operator before you think about Tata Sky. I found d local cable operator much much more satisfactory then Tata Sky.
