I moved from Hathway to tata sky 3 years ago. Since then I am using Tata sky. I also have tata sky at my parents’ house. So far I am happy with the service. They do charge a lot is what I feel. You cannot get a good package unless minimum 500 rupees. Also, you need to then get HD set-top box. Then you need to get HD box with recording facility. The list goes on. The deduction is as per the daily basis is what I like. But they revised the rates again and added 20 rupees more. Became costlier.
The network reception is good most of the times but it soon gets interrupted. In rains, lightning, it goes for a toss. Even when it is windy outside, the reception is bad. When the most important scene is going on, there is a loss of signal. It is very irritating at such times.
I think their market share is huge in DTh industry, they should improve!
