If you are interested in tata sky this may help you. I am a tata sky user for more than eighteen months. I have two set top boxes running on single dish. At the time of Ordering: When I order it I was told that It will take two or three days to install (As saturday and a sunday is falling) but I got it right on the monday morning. No hassle during fitting.
The boys are well trained and utterly professional. Fitting and installation is done in about 20 minutes. A tea is offered to them and after it we are enjoying a fresh perspective of television. Our earlier dish connection is worst in the world with no channel viewable (let alone enjoyable). In the next seven months we don’t face a single issue.
After it during rains our signal goes down. We called their CC. They helped us by giving us the directions on what to do to self diaglose and treat the system, and in 10 minutes we are again enjoying our tata sky. In the eleventh month of our association with it it again goes blank. We thaught the same problem occured as the earlier one so we called their CC but this time it is unable to get it sorted out. A slight frustration. The CC executive informed us that our complaint is registered and the companint no. is so and so. She told us that a technician will reach us in 24 hrs.
But to our disbelief he reached us the same day in about 2 hours from our lodging complaint. A part of the dish has stopped functioning. It is changed an our connection is up and running. A big thanks to Mr. Ratan Tata. Had it being our regular cable connection it will take more than a week for the person to come to us. When I got married I decided to buy a new set top box of the tata sky and use the same connection. I called the tata sky CC to order one, and the next day I got one installed with no issues. Till today I am not facing any issue with it. I actually can’t understand why other fellow reviewers are not having positive views for tata sky. I am not saying that they are posting false reviews bu I can say that till now our family is very happy with it.
