Pathetic Service. BEST AVOID.

I have had enough with this DTH service provider. These people are white collared Thieves. Nothing else can better describe them or their service. I have made endless calls since Nov 4th for an outage that happened on Nov 3rd at 8PM. They claim that the rain led outage lasts only for 2-3 minutes and they have best technology. BULL CRAP. 4 days gone and there is no end to my agony in sight.


I have been getting assurances since morning after 15 calls to their call center that it will be resolved in 2 hours, then 4 hours then by EOD. One lady(Yashoda) gave a GUARANTEE that it will be resolved today by 4:45PM. My question - what if it does not happen by then? Guess what. It is still unresolved.


The call center kids only mouth a bunch of "Sorry for inconvenience caused" or "I understand your pain sir" etc. Nothing concrete gets done. If it were for some "white skinned customer" these people would’ve not hesitated to lick their stinky butts. We still have the slave mentality you see.


Any way, I intend to take this issue to its logical closure. As a next step, the experience with the names of every call center personnel who attended this issue will go to TRAI.


Next, I intend to start a campain against Tata Sky. Last year, I had a contract breach related issue with Tata Sky and I made them grovel. They thought they were dealing with a push over and they were patently wrong. I will once again drag them thru mud for sure. Next year, I shall look for a viable alternative to Tata.


Indians, in general need to understand what good service and how to supplement good product with good service. Tata Sky is an insult to brand Tata.
