I had bought TATA sky. Probably I was one of its first patronizers in this far off remote place...believing in the brand name TATA. However. it has not reached the expectations which probably I had..it is akin to any other services provided by other digital cable TV. Programs wise per se it started reducing the earlier programes and increased the expanse of the programs, so slowly from the 130 rupees which I used to give to the cable tv walla has increased to 250 to 275 to 350 now while th e local cable wallah takes 200 rupees and shows all the available channels.
Agreed the quality of digital tv is better but it does not show all the channels which the local chaps shows and because we have already purchased the set top box of tata we cannot shift to any other set top box...However, the disappointing part is the services that TATA sky top provides. Promptly I got a call when I was out station that your cable fees is due please recharge it. Now it has been two days that I m trying to recharge it via the mytatasky.com site but there is a problem in the site and no response. Sitting in a far off place it is not possible to get the recharge cards and since I keep on moving off and on I don’t want to recharge it with the auto debit facility.
Why cant such a big company keep good technical support to keep its site and web portal in shape? So many people must b going without the services just because e of the in efficiency of the people mainlining the web site.
