This has really been a very nice thing to have such things like TataSky and dish around. We could finally get rid all those poor quality videos from our cable guys. It also introduced a whole new concept of TV, with all the learning and program schedule details. I have been TataSky since a year now and have not had any kind of problems.
Now coming to the main issue with these TVs; what happens when it is raining is really not acceptable. There is hardly any signal and none of the channels work. This is annoying. The problem exists with the Ku band of signals. And there are few methods suggested by people to control this though not completely get rid of it. I think slightly modifying the antenna size/accessories or increasing the transmission power can help. I hope Tatasky comes up with some workarounds if not completely fix the issue for now!
