Connection and activation: Simple and easy. The installation was fast and very neat. Professional work.
Picture and sound quality is good. They have a lot of useless channels in the basic package. May be there are people who watch all those channels.Any way its not a tata sky problem. One issue here is that they put some channels like World movies in a special package with some other channels. it doesnt come with the regular english movies package and we have to pay extra. I dont know about other networks.
I am ready to pay the amount and buy all those packages, but even in that case we wont be able to watch TV as we want. there are many issues with the user interface-
It always shows that ugly tatasky logo on the screen. we are paying for this service and still they add this logo. Its a freeAd for them.
Can set only 20 favourite channels. Swiching channels is a pain. Either you have to watch only those 20 fav channels or byheart all the numbers of all other channels.
The Remote design is in such a way that you have to press the numbers within 2 seconds. thats another pain. I am getting used to it after using for a long time.
When we switch on the set, by default it goes to one tatasky channel and they claim it has a plus point. Who would want to see KAMINEY(written in 50 font size) as their welcome screen on TV?
Another thing is spams. Keep getting messages about some shows in tatasky channel which I am never interested.
Why dont they give some options for all these?
To conclude tata sky has done some good thing to me. they changed my TV watching habit.
Earlier I used to watch 3-4 hrs on weekdays and 4-8 hrs on weekends. Now after taking TATASKY I watch TV only 20-30 min on any day.
I would refer TATASKY to anybody as the last option. If they don’t get any other connections!
