Let me start by telling that I am writing this review from BOTSWANA (SOUTH AFRICA). I work there and my family is in India (South). I came across this Grand Festive Offer for Rs.3999/- (one year subscription) along with the hardware. I booked my new subscription on the 4th of October, 2008 from BOTSWANA using the credit card option. When I got no acknowledgment from the Tata Sky people about my subscription and the information about the next steps to be taken by them to install, I called up the call centre. They gave me a satisfactory answer. As because it was puja time there was supposed to be some delay in the delivery of the courier. After that I waited a couple of days and on 15th October, 2008 the courier was delivered to my address in India. When the help centre was called up they got the details about the digicomp and scheduled for a installation on the 16th October, 2008. As promised, they reported on time and completed the installation to the satisfaction of the customer.
At the start of this subscription, I was a little worried because whether my wife could manage with the scheduling, following them and installation and learning to use the system. But after today, I am assured that Tata Sky are a true professional organisation. They not only installed the system but also gave a hands on tutorial to the user.
Hats off to tata sky once more for completing a job to the utmost satisfaction of the customer. (Not to take anything from those people who have had problems.)
