I purchased tatasky DTH service becasue it is from the house of Tatas. I thought a Tata group company will behave reasonably with the customers.
However, I am surprised by the way tatasky is conducting itself in the last couple of months. Some months back they removed Amrita and Doordarshan Tamil channel. Lot of mails were written and they restored these channels.
Again I find them in the same mode. Some Doordarshan channels were moved to Actve service. This is without any announcement. When I checked with their call centre I was informed that they want to add more channels and hence some channels were moved to Actve. Actve doesn’t support full screen viewing. A 32 inch TV becomes a 16 inch TV in Actve service. I really do not know the intention of Tatasky in moving couple of Doordarshan channels to Actve. Is it a precursor to removal?
Is it right on the part of Tatasky to agree for subscription of a package and remove them under some pretext?
Doordarshan Tamil(PODHIGAI) offers a lot of good programs which can be viewed comfortably with the family. Frequent removal of channels does not add credibility to the house of Tatas. I wish good sense prevails.
I subscribed to all English news and business channels on Tatasky. To my surprise ET Now is added with cosmo package where you need to subscribe to all Hollywood movie channels.
I don’t understand why the DTH operator clubbed ET now with cosmo package and not willing to offer on a standalone basis.
