I have been a very happy customer of Tatasky for close to 7 years across 3 cities. But thats where the good ended.
On 11th June 2013 I lodged a complaint: (SR1106130997157) that my TataSky set-top box is not working.
On 12th June 2013 I called to follow up and as expected a work order #1-21121256092 was issued and within 1 hour the engineer reached my home to attend the call.
Heres where the problem started:
The engineer replaced the power adapter - and fixed an OLD, obviously repaired, adapter before literally running away when my wife asked her to wait to talk to me
He left a mobile phone number which was WRONG / Never answered (Shubhash - 9650037601). After making a few calls I reached the Gurgaon service center (9250094351) and when I shared my complaint they hung up. On calling back they disconnected the call every time.
I immediately called the Customer Care number and spoke to Ms Shraddha (call log no provided: 1-21123561249) and shared my dismay at this obvious cheating. I was promised that the matter will be looked into and if required a new adapter will be provided before billing me. I was also told that since I am a "Premium customer" there will be no charges on my account.
A very poor call came in last evening from a Hyderabad number who had no clue of what he was calling about. I did share my complete dissatisfaction with TataSky with him to which I was given the impression that he couldnt do anything about my dissatisfaction and that wasnt really his concern
28 hours later money has been deducted from my account without any clarification/intimation.
What should I do now? Is Airtel DTH any better?
