Since in our building there is no other option available we are using Tata sky DTH service from the past 4 years.
Picture and Sound quality is good. Also we get very good picture and sound when we opt for HD channels. Most of the channels are available in HD mode. Also they will provide free channels for the first month of the subscription as well as their special service anniversaries .
But the biggest problem of this DTH service is it will not be available most of the times in rainy season. If you weather little cloudy, you will not find your dth channels available. Sometimes for whole day it will not be available.Their customer care is little slow but they will take care of the query which you are facing.
Their monthly charge is very costly. For around 270Rs we will get only one regional language and Hindi language channels. Not even English channels are available. We will get one or two kids channel in this. For other channels we have to pay extra monthly.
One good thing we can disconnect the service when we are not using or when we are going out of station.
