I purchased a new LG tv about 3 months back and was offered a Tata sky HD connection. Took it without knowing what I was getting into. Big mistake. I made about 25 calls to the call centre ranging over 2 months. They would simply state that "there is a cable operators issue in your society" and "someone from Tata Sky will call u back within 24hours". So if there is an issue, do they not want to try and resolve it? Even after countless calls from a customer? And as for calling back, forget it. I have heard only once from Tata sky in the past 3 months, with myself having called about 30 times so far.
Finally, 2 people called me and asked me to collect the equipment from a location and they would come to install it soon. I duly went and collected it and waited for 3 days. Then they finally came and did half the installation and left. Then I made another ten calls asking for the work to be completed, with no result so far.
So, I am having a packed set top box and dish half installed anbd a coil of wire, yet to be connected to the box the TV.
The only plus is that I have not been charged any money as yet.
Will someone tell me what to do? Does the tata sky service centre actually exist in Mumbai? Are they for real? Can anyone provide such spectacularly poor service and still exist in these days of cut-throat competition?
Im waiting to find out!
