I am presently using dishtv, while going thru many comments abt tata sky I found that tata sky customer care seems to be in a very bad shape. well I wish to add dishtv customer care also to the same level. I bouught the dish along with the six month deewali offer and as part of it I was supposed to get all the channels free for six months. nearly after two weeks some problem started with receiving some movie channels, I called the c.c(customer care) they told me I need to pay for it for the servicing, then I had to fight with them for almost a week to get the service done free(as I was under guarantee period I insisted for free service) the local service person took his own time and at the end I lost nearly two weeks.
then again after four months the problem surfaced again then as usual the cc people took me for a ride(in between I wrote several email complaints to them, they replied promptly and even I have recd calls from delhi, saying the service persons are on the way nothing worked). nearly after two weeks they replaced my set top box. in total I lost abt one month viewing+ time+money+ mental struggle with these guys
now for their welcome pack I am forced to pay 300/ month though it says 262/ m as they r teling me that at the time of my activation I have chosen the sun package so I shud buy it now alos( though we at home rarely watches any sun pacakage)
after going thru the new tata sky pricing I found the south value pack a good choice(with dish tv though I pay 300/ I dont get any english movie channels)
may I request u to give some valuable adivice on this
I will have to thow away my dish tv stb+ dish
