Sales Experience
I called up the dealer and he delivered digicomp at home. I paid him Rs 4, 500 by cheque. Two days later tata sky people installed the dish and since than it is working fine. Installation was done very nicely right upto the TV point from the dish. They removed the old cable and installed there own. Rs 4, 500 included - Dish, Digicomp, Installation charges and around 3 month subscription charges.
Picture Quality
So far experience has been great. Picture quality is great. It may not be same as DVD but very close to it and certainly far better than cable.

*So far I have called them twice. I didn’t had to wait long before my call was answered. I got all the answers I needed.
Monthly Payment
This is the only problem I faced with Tata Sky. You can pay subscription charges only by recharge coupons. I had to really search for it, even the big electronics shops did not not have it. I could get it from the dealer only. For this I had drive around 10 KMs in heavy traffic. Good news is that it seems you can buy recharge coupon online through indiaplazza.in now. The time I got my connection, subscription charge was Rs 200 per month, when I recharged my account with Rs 1000 coupon in Jan 07, I got little more than 5 months i.e. my subscription charge is still Rs 200. It seems subscription charge is Rs 300 for the new connections now.
Overall, experience has been great. Irrespective of Rs 200 or 300 per month I am enjoying it. It is far better than cable.
