If you are planning to switch from your standard cable connection to a satellite one then Tata Sky should be your first choice and I am going to explain to you as to why it should be so.
First of all the picture frame rate and the sound transmission is really great as it is a satellite connection. Secondly, you don’t have to worry about your cable wire being cut somewhere on the way and then having to call the technician again and again. Even if you already use some other satellite connection and are planning to switch then I would recommend that you choose Tata Sky since you can get access to any channel(for the appropriate price of course) and watch it without interruption.
Tata Sky HD set top box price: Rs. 1500-1700 INR
Tata Sky standard set top box price: Rs. 1250-1300
I recommend buying the HD set top box
Pros:
Recharge amount of as less as Rs.100 INR possible
You can select your package of channels as you wish and avoid paying for the channels that you are never going to visit;)
You can order new movies to watch from their showcase package.
It also has a really great door to door service.
Cons:
Frequent request to upgrade to Tata Sky HD(so it would be better to buy the HD set top box instead)
In rainy season’some times’ the feed may stop’temporarily’ but it resumes as soon as the weather clears.
