Firstly I would like to mention that the channels have been slowly moved out of common channels or packages into Add-Ons like it is mentioned in an earlier comments and trying to reach tata sky contacts were in vain for over a day.
Worst is if you take an(Add-On monthly or annual basis), only this is shown in balance. I took an annual package and paid for one year(valid for one year till Feb 2009) this never reflected in balance as they claim it was a package. Now only add-on reflected in balance.
When the balance shown towards Add-On decreased to zero they are de-activating the entire account even though I had paid for annual package. They say that a minimum balance should be paid for 200 and then de-activate the add-on and then only they will activate my Gold combo(base package) for which I have already paid for 1 year. So my account stands de-activated though I have paid for the base package annually.
Worst is the customer service exes when I spoke to last week said the annual package will continue and no issue its only add-on which will be de-activated.
I have not seen anywhere in the world where an add-on if not paid the account itself will be de-activated including base package and not just the specific add-on.
It is high time we go to court and I dont know what is TDSAT doing where these provider are taking customer for a ride.
