I bought a Tata Sky HD box in April 2014 - and found it to be a total case of mis-selling by the company.
What no one tells you - neither the Tata Sky rep nor the actual reseller - is that Tata Sky charges you separately for HD channels per month.
If that is the case, why do they charge extra for the box, compared with their own SD boxes - AND why do they NOT mention this information when they are selling the HD boxes or on their website where they list out the different boxes they sell?
The difference in pricing is more than double compared with my local cable service provider(Hathway).
I am now getting to trial out Hathway’s HD service and see their quality(unfortunately for me, I did not realise they offered an HD service before I bought the Tata sky box) - and then I will just throw the Tata sky box in the nearest rubbish bin, where it belongs.
I don’t mind paying a higher/premium price for higher quality - but what is really galling is the chicanery and cheating employed by the "noble house" of Tatas.
