For some people choosing a DTH service provider is not easy but for me it has been crystal clear which brand to go for. I have used Airtel and Tata Sky both and have been with Tata sky from a long time. Thought the Price of Tata sky is a bit higher than the other service providers but it beats them all down with it’s amazing after sales service. Tata sky cares for it’s customers and that is the reason it is growing across both small and big cities.
You see what is the point of spending less on a service provider when it fails to give you one. I have seen lot of people complain with other providers that even after reporting an issue with customer service there is a delayed response whereas with Tata sky they reply within 24 hours. I have faced atleast 4 issues within a year but the they were prompt in sending the technician within a day to rectify the problem. Though Tata sky spends a lot on their marketing but it is their word of mouth trust that helps them give more customers.
I visit a lot to my friends place who has Videocon service and I have seen him every now and then calling over the phone requesting to send a guy to solve the signal problem. I asked him why doesn’t he change it? but he replies by telling me it is a bit cheap since he gets more channels in his package. To each to their own but I hate it if I am watching my favorite TV show or a cricket match and it is interrupted by a signal problem or the issue is not resolved within a day. I can depend on Tata sky wholeheartedly in that respect and I even don’t bother paying a little extra to have uninterrupted service. I customize my own packages and I watch all sports and movie channels including the international channels. The setup box hardware looks more attractive compared to what I have seen with other providers. I don’t believe that Tata sky will be dethroned any way sooner because they are expanding really fast and they have huge no. of distributors. I would recommend people to go for this service provider though you have to pay a little extra for that comfortable experience of watching TV.
