Attitude+Status+Power=Tata Safari Dicor

I came across a lot of reviews on Tata Safari Dicor 2.2. here and I agree with all of them who have claimed it to be a  “Beast” . I recently bought the brand new Safari 2.2 and I think it’s THE machine. The best feature undoubtedly has to be its engine, which the Tata guys claim to have created from the scratch, and that it’s not any modification of the previous variant’s engine. And truly its simply awesome! The engine unleashes a maximum power of 140 PS, which I think few or none of the other SUVs in the category offer. You can literally feel it when you’re driving it.

What’s best is that it attains the peak torque of 320 Nm in the range of 1700 – 2700 rpm. That means you don’t have to keep on changing the gears just to keep the motor alive.

The luxurious two-tone beige interiors, faux wood on the centre console, new gear knob and switches, all of these and lots more makes one feel like royalty. Though few, the exterior changes have been worked upon really well. Trust me its really a head turner because when I’m on the road people literally make way for this grand locomotive.

When it comes to safety Tata Safari clearly bags the top slot. It is equipped with ABS and EBD that ensures efficient breaking and greatly reduces the chances of skidding especially during cornering at speeds. So doesn’t matter if you’re on a slippery road or on a killer curvy track, you can still ride the beast with full power. It has been tested and certified for crash worthiness too. It also has air bags for the driver and the co-driver that self-inflates in just 40 milliseconds!  That’s some kind of safety guys!

One thing that grabs attention is the Reverse Guide System. This I guess no one else possesses. There’s a weatherproof camera below the rear number plate so when u slip into the reverse gear, a part of the internal rear view mirror lights up to display an unobstructed view of what’s behind. What do you think of that!

To sum it all up, I have to say that I am more than proud of owning this “Beast.”
