Dicor Lemon

Hi, Just wanted to share with you my bad experience with the DICOR VX 4x2 which I had since 3 weeks here in Chennai. Though the looks are very appealing, they are more cosmetic as I found the quality wanting in substance. These were the 5 things which I found and necessitated rejecting the vehicle from dealer here named Concorde:

  1. fuel lid opens when slightly picked by forefinger (locks not fitting);

  2. Driver side door has ting-ting sound when closed (suspect loose components inside);

  3. Rear doors have to be shut with great pressure to fit;

  4. Found minor dents in the body;

  5. Rear bumpers looks to have been repaired then repainted.

They managed to fix 1, 2 and 3 and promised to look into 5.

Today, after 3 weeks and 980 kms, these are the new things I have noticed:

  1. Creak-creak annoying sound in steering column;

  2. Left front door has ting-ting sound;

  3. Rear doors still need to be pushed hard to close - causing some indents on the door side due to exerted pressure.

Huuuhhh, this compares very badly with brand new cars I have taken delivery in the last 15 years (about 12 already as I change cars every 3 years in my home country). I shouldve bought the Endeavor of Ford or just the Innova as both have really execellent smooth finishes and everything works.

THe only good thing about this car is the dicor engine which delivers very good mileage (about 10kms/liter).

Regards
