Safari is for person who demands more from Life

I recently bought Safari Dicor EX model. Before that I test drove Scorpio also, but the comfort which you get in all Tata vehicles is incomparable. Its one month now & I have completed 2500 kms in it. I have taken it to rough roads and big pot holes but crossed it as there was a plain road.

Now lets come to Pros & Cons of it -

Pros:

Good looks, Very spacious, Silent engine(as compared to its power somtimes I think its silent than Indica also), Good mileage (around 11.4 km/litre with AC in city), Easy to handle(responsive engine & steering), Good braking ( but you should avoid immediate braking as it is a big car & takes time to stop).

Cons:

Not attractive interiors(But not that bad too), Two side facing seats at rear(it could have been a front facing to accomodate 1 more person), Should have provided leather seats instead of cloth.

This SUV is not just for highway driving, bcos of its easy handling I drove it in heavy traffic roads very comfortably. One thing you have to remember is that this is big vehicle has bigger turning radius too.

If you are planning to buy Scorpio or Innova then pls stop by & read this review.

Innova is a mini van which is not suited for Indian roads. It has lot of body so if you drive it in heavy traffic city there are 100% chances that someone will make scratch in the body. So, the maintainence will be high. Also the mileage is less as compared to Safari.

Scorpio is a vehicle which you should compare it with Sumo. The basic structure behind that attractive looks is same as Sumo. Also its not spacious inside & have a very uncomfortable sitting. The height & width is also not proportional bcos of that it can toppel. Again the mileage is less.
