Tata Safari DiCOR

I had a test drive on Safari recently and here are my comments on the drive -

Pros -

1. Interior space - very spacious. But it comes with a side facing last seats that I didn’t like. It looks like a taxi.

   
   




2. Exterior - Good exteriors

   
   




3. Road visibility - Very good

   
   




4. Ground clearence - Very good

   
   




5. Stability while driving on uneven roads, fast turns on highways - excellent

   
   

6.Good interior finish

Cons -

1. Clutch is hard, very ahrd to operate

   
   




2. Gears 1 and 2 are the only ones youi can use in the city. Gear 3 is used above 40 and gear 4 above 50 and gear 5 above 70 KMPH. This makes the SUV vibrate a lot at lower gears on lower speeds.

   
   




3. It jerks if the release of clutch is quicker. The person who brought the car always reminded me that I ened to release the clutch slowly to enjoy the ride. If the car jerks while changing gears then it is not the vehicle I would like to own.

   
   

4.Too heavy. The engine just manages to pull the car.

1. There was a rattling noise heard while driving (Loose parts in the doors maybe).
