December 7, 2016: Tata Motors has launched a torquier variant of its powerful SUV, the Safari Storme at Rs 13, 25, 530(ex-showroom Delhi). The 2.2L VARICOR engine has been tweaked for more power and now produces 156 PS of power along with 400Nm of torque which is mated to a new 6-speed manual gearbox, with a self-adjusting clutch which gives this SUV a more car-like feel.Exterior Is just perfect, it looks like beast. The changes done to the exterior of old sagreat gives it a look of land rover the rear look too make it looks like a beast.
Interior(Features, Space & comfortable Its very comfortable, lots so space is available, features are good except the poor quality music system n lack of air bags.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good, excellent fuel economy, and gearbox is much easier then previous safari, the turning radius too is less then previous one. Steering is soft n easy to handle.
Ride Quality & Handling You ll feel like road queen after entering into the beast, easy to handle and perfect for any type of roads. I tested it in salty sand dunes, and every special indian road it goes awesome and ull definely enjoy the ride in it.
Final Words Amazing car totally worth for money. Im using it from past 3 months its just perfect. Itll give you a no complain thing. And the best thing is tata customer support is too goo ull never face a problem with them.
Areas of improvement Music system should be improved. It should contain airbags coz every car is unsafe without airbags. It also gets companys new integrated CONNECTNEXT infotainment system along with 6-speaker surround sound which is developed by Harman. The Safari Storme is expected to get a 1.9-litre diesel engine in 2017. Tata Safari Storme set to become Indian Armys new choice of vehicle.
