Airtel Digital TV: If you are looking for a forearms exercising machine go for Airtel Digital TV.
Here is why:
You can set your favorite channels in your favorite list.
Firstly you can store only 15 channels in one favorite folder, road side cable vendors provide set top boxes which stores any number of channels, no limit. I don’t know why Mittals TV does not? Now say you have stored your favorite channels in your favorite list. Then you would logically want to go to your favorite folder to start viewing your channels. But wait it cant be that simple from mr. Mittal. They have a button on the remote "fav", supposedly this button should take you to the favorite folder, but alas when you hit the "fav" button it first takes you to the "all channels" list. You then select from one of the four coloured buttons to go to your favorite channels. F k what the f k is that? That’s not all, more mittals here.
Now say that you reached the favorite folder and now you want to go to the next channel in your favorite folder. There is a sick button on the remote which when you click should take you to the next channel. And since you are already in your favorite folder the assumption is that you will go to the next favorite channel in your favorite list, well that’s the first reason that you came to the favorite list, didn’t you?
But no, not with the mittal! You click the next button and the f ked system takes you to the next f ked channel in the genre of the channel you are watching. Example: You have two channels set in your favorite say times now(genre news) and MTV(genre entertainment), Say you are watching times now and the next channel is MTV, so when you hit the next channel button where should you go? MTV of course, but no, the mittal will send you to the next channel after times now in the news genre. What the f k is that? That means for me to go to the MY next favorite channel (MTV) I have to f king start off right from the beginning, hit the "fav" button, select the fav folder using the four colored buttons and then use the right and left f ked arrow keys to reach my next favorite channel.
This is a bloody shame to the famous name of IT software engineers of INDIA. The software of the remote control is f ked. Mittal curse you for this.
Die airtel digital tv, drop dead.
The shame doesn’t end there, some channels when you surf, they just refuse to go away. You simple can not move ahead or back from this channel. You f king have to restart the whole f ked system. What the f k is that?
Airtel Digital TV is good for those who what to make there forearms muscles. The number of clicks you make to do silly and stupid things is awesome.
Mittal f ked the citizens of this country with his dumping. looks like he picked up some US rejected (perhaps rejected by pakistan also) DTH set top boxes, from china or tiwan, for throw away prices and dumped them on the heads of the indians. He must have thought, these bloody indians dont even know where to compliant about such sh*t - how truely he understands indians, where do indians compiant of such dupe and such douchebags like mittal? we just dont know, who is listening to us? The government is busy looking at the account of tax payers to pull as much money from us as possible and have perfectly well defined reasons of why we should be deprived of everything including quality.
When the government mandated DTH and set top boxes, whos responsibility was it to keep a check on quality? Why is there no ISI marking standard required for set top boxes?
