I have been using Airtel DTH from more than a Year. Since last month have been frequently receiving No Signal error B001 in my Set top box. On 18th August I lodged a complaint and paid Rs. 100 for an engineer to visit me and rectify the same. The problem was back after 15 days. When I called Airtel, they want me to pay another 100 bucks stating that the complaint needs to be re lodged in 7 days post rectification.
Compared to this I run a Tata Sky connection also. No problems in last 3 years, they also do a free checkup during monsoons to ensure no problems are faced. Also they are much more fair in dealing with customers and their call centre guys do not disconnect calls when you ask to speak to their supervisors..
So the Airtel DTH box is available for a free give away. If anyone wants it please write to me on anubhav242@hotmail.com
