Bad experience with Tatasky technicians

We have an LCD TV and there is a strange problem- When we browse through  unsubscribed channels, the screen starts flickering and wobbling and  this continues in the help menu & guide. We had raised a ticket\ for the same on 17-Feb, and the ticket has been open since one month.


The  tata sky service people had promised to replace the set top box, and on  26-March, the service person  got some other old set top box and was  forcing us to connect the same. We were under an impression that he  would get us a brand new set top box since I still have warranty. We did  not want to use some set top box which was already used by someone, and  I asked him to reconnect my  existing set top box.


But the guy was  very rude, and he was literally snatching our set top box and adapter  and trying to run away. He was speaking to his team leader and manager  over the phone and those people too were supporting his acts.


We were  very firm and we did not give him our set top box and adapter. This guy  behaved so badly, that he did not even have the courtesy to connect  back our set top box and said that it is impossible to connect our old  set top box and if we have to watch tata sky it has to be with the set  top box which he got. I told him to at least connect my existing set top  box, but he refused to do so.  He went  away without re-connecting my  old box!! How dare this guy totally disconnect/deactivate my service  & run away?!? Shocking! Not giving a new STB is one thing, but  totally deactivating my service when there is still balance in my  account is a crime!


After paying so much money, here we are without  any television to view. We bought Tata sky, thinking that your service  will be very good and much better than local Cable TV and to get rid of  the cable mafia. But after today’s incident we have got a feeling that  there is no difference between cable and tatasky, except that Tata sky  charges more for such BAD service. I request tatasky no to take such  horrible people as franchisees/employees. I reported this matter to  tatasky thru email & phone & they just called 5 times and said  some stories.
