I had purchased a basic package of Airtel digital tv, the one they offer during sale. It went good, suddenly without any information, my package was changed to a higher price one. with company saying that they discontinued the old package.
Then suddenly they switched over to a new satellite (They said for better service). But more than half of the channels disappear. Despite regular complains their service man came in 5 months !!! to change the antenna settings. No refund was provided for the time, I used their package with half the channels not visible. Now on 9th nov 2012 again I got an sms that they add 5 channels and increase the rent further...
Arre Bhai nahi chahiye mujhe wo 5 channels. Once you fall in their trap, they force you to use the service their way and make you pay in their way. They dont follow the contract they sign when getting a customer into their service but they can change it anytime as per their convenience.
If anyone is still wanting Airtel connection. Please take it from me. it seems like a burden.
