I have used both tata sky and airtel digital tv. there is little to tell apart in their quality of telecast. but airtel surely stands out in their pathetic after sales service.
It is very difficult to get to talk to an agent in their call center. the drops so often - I am quite sure they ahve outsourced this to a sweat shop or a garage call center... when you finally talk to him, they are hardly equipped to handle your query. all they can do is send you a ticket number. now comes the best part - your field service agent...he is just not there...
He has phones that you cant call, when he chooses to call [ usually early morning ] he will insist on coming at 11 Am - on a working day- you ask him to come on saturday.. he will politely say yes - only to close the ticket you raised. all you will get is a ticket closed SMS...
To cut the long story short - just dont buy Airtel Digital TV
