I have been a user of dish Tv for more than a year now. The customer service is pathetic. I have still not received a bill for the payments made. I have raised complaints to dish personnel(whenever I have been able to get through to them) but for no avail. The rates were hiked within a few months.
While picture quality is decent as it should be with the direct to home technology being used the signal gets messed up uring rains. They are prompt to cut of service when payment is due. You dont get payment reminders even if you have registered for the same. Imagine this happening when you are getting ready to watch a program that you have been waiting for the whole week. Even if you make a payment it will take upto 48 hours to get your service restored.Payment gateway doesnt work half the time. They try to make you use itz cards.
Their toll free number never works.
From what I hear the service at Tata Sky is much better. I am waiting for a scheme where we would be able to make the switch as of now I dont think there are any means to do the same. I had enquired with a tatasky earlier for the same.
