For the first timers n all those who are in a dilemna ( like I was ) as to which DTH to purchase
DONT GO FOR DISH DTH
I had bought the set up box for dish after a lot of R and D as to which is better; Tata or Dish.
Frankly I had no cear cut advantages of one over the other( like Airtel Vs Vodafone).
My problems started then
1. The installation took 5 DAYS ( mentioned time 2 days) that to after 10 calls to the dealer as well as call centre.
2. The call center people are a big nutheads, they have no technical knowledge of the company they work for.
3. I’m a Deli’te stayin in chennai. The Dish Tv Dealers ( Sri Maruthi Aircon) do not know ENGLISH. My call for installation was given complaint number, wrong request number n service request, even me telling them that im calling for installation. Only when I literally shouted at them ( n constricted my coronary arteries) then they came for installation
4. Reply on this from the Head Office " THEY MUST BE BUSY, WE HAVE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS"
Reply from local centre " IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME FOR WE ARE VERY BUSY"
5. 3 times they gave us time for home visit n didnt turn up. I ended up being at my home n waiting for them wasting my time n nothing else.
- After installation the connection has not been established.
5 times atleast I have called them, they give me every time different channel number for satellite tuning ( I suppose how they give me wrong number all the time) and I again end up increasing my mobilen electricity bill with no results.
7. Today the gave me a different story " your account have not been credited( even though I had made the payment 3 daye before)
So I have got a new channel to tune today morning n waiting for the satellite to direct its mercy on me
