I have been a TATA Sky Subscriber for over 3 years now and to be honest till date I haven’t had too many issues. till now the only problem I had with them is NUMEROUS charges. Literally everything you click on will be charged and they had started this new scheme of making all the Good chanels as a seperate charge even when you buy their Mega Pack.
So in short they charge a lot of money. To an extent we managed with that assuming that they provide good service. But then that faithful day came when our Set Top Boxes(yes we have 2) were not receiving signal from their satellite. They had some advertisement that said they were upgrading systems and would send a free technician if we gave a missed call to 08899888998.
And we did a day went by then two I decided to call and check what was up as no one had come. They kept me on hold for about 20 minutes and then told me they would send someone the next day for sure. Next day came and went and no one came. I gave them a call again and this time They made me wait for 25 minutes on the call before I could connect to an agent and cut the call.
Can you imagine keeping someone on the call for 25 minutes and then just Cutting the call. Absolutely shameful on their part. And that is not the end. I was quite angry and finally managed to reach them again in the evening. This time they said for sure there would be someone at my door by 7:30 PM. And as you would have expected by now no one came. Tried their phone the next coupld of days and was never able to get through to any of their agents. Its almost two weeks now and I tried a different strategy now. I called and asked for a new connection. Imagine this it went through to their agent in 6 minutes. And I obviosuly do not ever want a new connection from them. SO I told them my problem and explained that I wanted to escalate to their manager. And they said they will transfer me. And cut the call. I do not know what to do now. Absolute waste of money on TataSky.
