I am also using Dishtv from 3 years. There is no problem. I have read so many reviews on both DishTv and TataSky and can help you by comparison.
1.DishTV has more customers in comparison to TataSky.
2.DishTv is cheaper than TataSky.
3.DishTv has more channels than TataSky.
4.Tata sky has less music channels.
5.DishTv packages are good in comparison to TataSky. I am enjoying all the channels in just 330 rupees per month while these channels are available on Tatasky in more than 350 rupees per month. You will get discount if recharge for 6 months or 1 year. When I recharge for 1 year I get all the channels in around 270 per month in DidhTV. Tatasky don’t show some good channels in lower packeges like Ten Sports, Pogo etc.
6.If you have DishTv, please renew it 2-3 days ago from last date. Because renewal process can take 1-3 days. I don’t know renewal process time inTataSky.
7.Picture quality and sound are good in both. I don’t know why some people are saying that picture quality is not good in Dish TV. I am enjoying the digital quality in Dish TV.
8.In rain you can have bad signal problem but only for 5-10 minutes in DishTv. I can’t say how long it iterrupts in tatasky.
9.Newly added channels in DishTV - Neo Sports, Neo Cricket, Ten Cricket, Bindass Movies, Bindass and UTV Movies.
10.There is no problem in payment process of DishTv. There are so many dishshopees all over India.
11.Customer care service is good in DishTV. I used it only 2-3 times. I recently used it 1 month back and I got surprised because it connected in first attempt, not once rather thrice. While 2 years back it took some attempts to connect with customer care number. So Dish TV has improved so much in this area.
12.Only 1 time I have to replace a part of SetTop box some months ago. I spent 400 with service charge.
13.New remote is available in Dish Tv now which is very good and have shortcut buttons to go for a service. Old customer can purchase it only for 100 rupees.
14.If you doesn’t renew in Dish TV you can enjoy free channels(more than 30).
15.Dish TV set top box don’t have voice control button. If your remote is not working, you can only switch channel through set top box but can’t adjust voice.
16.DishTV has 8 favourite lists and you can add as many channels in these lists. But TataSky has only 1 favourite list and you can’t add more than 20 channels in it. That is biggest advantage with DishTv. Every member of your family can create their own favourite channels list and enjoy surfing with only favourite channels.
Tatasky has more games to attract people but in era of playstaion and computer games they are just for small kids.
Overall I am very much satisfied with Dish TV service till now.
