I would like to highlight the inability of TataSky to deliver on its promise of 24-hour turnaround time of sorting out a problem with their equipment. A customer like me, who has eight set top boxes under two subscription ids, is suffering. We had never looked beyond TataSky and even referred to our friends/ relatives.
But not anymore. Why?
Here it goes:
On 28th August a complaint(number 1-221-625563) was lodged in the morning against non-functioning of an adapter of Set top box. After four calls and three days, I am still waiting for technical team to visit my house, despite several promises on delivering within 24 hours. After coercing, a customer care executive told me the complaint is lodged but may be due to shortage of personnel the visit doesnt get materialised. Who is repsonsible for this? Why should a customer pay for a service when the team cant sort the problem within 24 hours?
I am being made to wait at a particular slot and then technician doesnt turp up. Not only wastage of time, but again one has to go through automated call method and explain the same thing. Next visit is scheduled for August 31. I will share with readers whether my get STB is working. By the way, new complaint number is 1-111 625563 and online complaint reference is SR3008080072613.
