I was using Dish TV since last 4-5 years. After initial fights for bad service, I had accepted it as it is and was going on. My set top box too had problems and it was not function healthy.
Since my subscription of Dish TV was about to end and the Set top box too came up with some new problem, I decided to switch to TATA Sky.
I checked TATA Skys website. And:
Under the buy online Tab I sent my mobile number to them so that somebody might call back.
I received the call within some time!
The representative was neat to talk and to explain.
As I had doubts which package to buy I told him I will study it and will call him back, but he said, you need not call sir, tell me the time, I will call you back
He called me at the given time, heard me patiently and cleared my doubts.
Now I wanted to order it immediately, but did not have credit card number ready with me.
The guy took time from me and called me back exactly at given time!
Then the online ordering process happened successfully.
He told me your connection will be done by today eve or at the most by tomorrow morning.
Next day morning I got a call from TATA Sky at 10:30am and the representative told me he can come in 20 mins.
He did come in 20 mins! And installed the connection in half hour.
Here I found a big difference in Dish TV and TATA Sky: The person who did the installation was quite proficient with his work and he pegged the cable neatly at an interval of 2 right from terrace to the TV and did not keep it hanging lousy.
Another difference was the functioning stated immediately and did not have to wait as I had to for Dish TV.
He explained all the functions, made me comfortable and left.
Then I received 2 sms from TATA Sky telling me my ID number and welcome etc.
Then I received a call from TATA Sky asking me if everything is working fine or not and if I have any doubts.
To add to all this, today I received another call from TATA Sky and another person asked Sir, can I visit your place to check the quality of signal and overall functioning?
He did come at given time, checked the quality of signal, went to terrace, check the dish, check the quality of signal there with his equipment, asked me if I have any issues etc.
Do I need to say anything more?
Only last thing: Someone said TATA Sky is bit costly. I didnt find it costly. In fact the schemes that they offered are fantastic and the quality of service they offer I m willing to pay few bucks more!
Great going TATA Sky. You surely are a winner!
