Let me give u a very clear distinction and advantage of DishTV over Tata Sky. That is the content. The number of channels tata sky is offering for the same price or probably more is half of what dish is offering. that is the only reason I have picked up dish and the number of channels to be included in dish is definately better than t sky. well t sky at present has the advantage of better customer service as if now I do not know abt the future as have heard dishtv is on a major caall centreexpansion within the next 2 months.
SO IN THE END DISHTV GIVES ME DOUBLE THE CHANNELS AT THE SAME PRICEThe next thing is that I have seen that they have very strong regional contenet as in bangla, tamil malayalam punjabi and what not . beneficial for probably those people. one more disadvantage of dishTV is that its remote is not that easy to use tata sky remote is more user friendly. however those using CAS (cable operator boxes) the remote of dishtv is quite similar to cable remote. so I found itt not all that tough to adjust
