I’m using Tatasky for the past 6 months in Kerala. Its customer care is excellent. We not faced any major problem so far. If some minor complaints and once registered, we will get he calls from the customer care from all the places like Delhi, Mumbai and chennai etc. Clarity is very good .
I have taken dishtv two weeks before in my room in bangalore(from Vivek’s Koramngala.). During installation, I opted for Malayalam and Tamil as regional package. (For tata sky no need to mention anything like this).
After 10 days, suddenly some of the channels like Jeevan, Asianet Plus etc are missing and one message is coming on screen instead. When I contacted Bangalore local office they told that Hindi and Punjabi is activated instead of Malayalam and Tamil .
They told it will be rectified with in 4 hrs provided you need to ON the STB with channel which is not available.Even after two days also no feedback got from the customer care. After that I called Pune office and registered a complaint again. (That time I came to know that previous complaint was not registered). Again they told with in 24hrs it will be resolved. (compare to tatasky time is very high.
For tatasky it will take a few hrs) . In dishtv, you need to type VC no: first while making call to customer care, Again they will ask VC no: during the conversation just like it was not recorded earlier. After that they will tell to hold for 2 mins. Then only they can give the complaint reg no:. So total time for registering one complaint is more than 20 mins.
(For tatasky , complaint registration is simple and we will get the feedback with in 1-2 hrs). During installation , they not even had meter to measure signal strength where as Tatasky came in a professional way with meter and other equipements.
Regarding my complaint I sent two mails to the customer care dept. Even after 3-4 days, we not got any reply/call .During installation, they will give many no:s but none of them will be working. Most of the time mobiles will be switched off.
