Avoid Tatasky Like The Plague

On June 7, I lost the tatasky signal on and promptly lodged a complaint with their helpline.


Today, its June 10 and my connection has still not been restored.  The customer service reps parrot the same script every time, but nobody has come to repair the connection so far.  They won’t even give the contacts of a local manager to call and find out whats wrong.


I don’t know about dish tv, but I am guessing Airtel will be a better provider given its overall good perception of brand and service quality.


I have never been happy with their Tatasky’s service, but this experience takes the cake.  Oh, and btw, if you cancel the subscription, Tatasky won’t refund any money, which in my case would be Rs. 3000 for 6 months of balance subscription.  Makes a case for not committing for the long term and keeping your options flexible.


They think I am stuck with them now, so they can take liberties.  Well, its time to show them I don’t care for the money and don’t care for a company that doesn’t believe in happy customers.
