Both Tata Sky & Dish TV are Crap. I have Dish TV & my in laws has Tata Sky. They work fine till the time weather is OK. No Thunderstorm or raining. Moment it rains slightly or there is thunderstorm, it will either show no signal or disrupted signal. Mr. Khan in Dish TV ad requests " Thoda aur Wish Karo, Dish Karo", means buy a Dish for your home its a good Show Piece.
Just Wish that place you live should be a deserted area where there is no Rainfall. Tata Sky says " Isko laga daala to life zingalala" means your most of the time will be spent doing Zingalala Dance as there would be no signal once it started raining. I regret why when my wife was insisting me to opt for Cable TV & I consider myself as technology driven person opt for DTH.
To my surprise, when I call customer care I was advised " Sir as weather is bad, we can’t do any troubleshooting. Please call us when weather is clear." Give me a break. My wife was unhappy coz she missed 3 hours of her favorite Reality show on Saturday + I don’t know how many times signal disconnects during Bad Weather. All my honest advise, PLEASE DO NOT WISH & DON’T DO ZINGALA. Cable is far more better that Dish.
