THIS POST is for one of the guys who has posted in his review that the sumo is an accident prone vehicle
Well, I can prove it wrong, heres how.
Why are there so many tata sumo accidents?
TWO MAIN REASONS
Largest Selling UV since 1995. (until competition arrived lately)
Most employed vehicle in the Tourist industry.
Now the tourist industry is one that has its vehicles out on the roads, almost all through out the year.
SO...with an entire count of road accidents that happen within a year you are bound to have sumos in them, because there are SO MANY of them...
And besides road accidents are not the vehicles fault, its the fault of the Goons that drive them, they are mostly overworked, sleepless or drunk, when they are on the roads, and that is the reason for a higher number of accident cases.
And I bet out of all of those accident cases, 90% or more were tourist industry vehicles.
WE HAVE SEEN vehicles Like OLD SHANTY Trucks moving along the highways which are WAY more at RISK than a Tata Sumo at any given point and time...
Now why do you think those vehicles have not had an accident yet!!!
Its only because they have good drivers who understand the limitations of the vehicles they drive.
Case Study: The Ford Mondeo sold only a few hundred (Not more than 400) vehicles last year, while the Sumo sold around 25000 now if we have less Mondeo accidents, WELL ITS FREAKIN obvious because that car does’nt sell too many anyway!!
Heres another one for ya...People said, that the pulsar with its disk brakes was very accident prone, thats weird I ride my friends Pulsar DTSI that has a disk brake, while he has had 3 accidents with it, I have’nt had even one YET!! So thats what its all about, you gotta understand the vehicle you ride/drive and know its plus points and minus points.
