I have owned this vehicle since dec 2008 & have done 24000 km. Till now I have not faced any issues though I have driven in this vehicle through the length & breadth of this country along with my family. The maintenance cost has been negligible i.e. only the routine service expenditure. I have touched the speed of 140 kmph but the vehicle becomes slighty unstable after 120 kmph & the braking also does not inspire any confidence at that speed.
However, the drive & maneuverability is extremely good in city traffic. The vehicle has enormous space & is suitable for a large family. The AC is very effective, even for the people seated in third row. The engine provides enough power for comfortable overtaking on the highways & surprisingly it is pretty quiet. The best fuel economy given by my car has been 13.8 km / ltr on Pune-Belgaum stretch at the cruising speed of 110-120kmph.
Of course, the thing which I hate about this car is cheap quality of plastics used in the interiors, lack of finesse/refinement & the name tag SUMO which I wish could’ve been avoided.
