TATA Tea- Another feather to the cap

Hi friends,

Before going into TATA Tea, I would like to bring in some good facts about Tea.

Research findings have proved that tea, India’s most widely consumed beverage besides being stimulating and refreshing, is rich in antioxidants which offer various health benefits.

Tea derived from leaves of the plant Camellia Sinensis contains natural chemicals called polyphenols in the form of flavonoids and its subgroup flavonols, which gives tea its antioxidant properties.

Both green and black tea contain polyphenols which like other antioxidants help protect the body cells from the normal but damaging, physiological process known as oxidative stress. It has been found that compared to other fruits and vegetables, the antioxidant capacity of tea is much greater.

According to the The Food Composition Lab of the US Department of Agriculture and Human Nutritional Research, antioxidant potency in a cup of tea is 400 per cent greater than a cup of orange juice while providing a far smaller intake of sugar and calories. In fact, tea on its own is free of calories.

Dentists are recommending tea as an alternative to most beverages as well.

Black tea contains other polyphenols such as thearubigins and theaflavins, which are very powerful. These antioxidants in black tea prevent the oxidation of LDL cholesterol associated with the risk of atherosclerosis (the deposit of cholesterol leading to narrowing of blood vessels and restriction of blood flow), reducing the risk of heart disease among tea drinkers.

Tanin and phenol concentrated in green tea may be as powerful as beta carotene in preventing oral cancer.

Tea is also recommended as a protector of the cardiovascular system.

Green tea brew is also known to have a therapeutic effect on infectious diseases particularly dysentery, hypertension and elevated headaches .

OK. These are some of the facts.

The brand of TATA Tea, is very good.It has a wonderful and pleasant aroma; has a very good taste and I personally recommend it to all.It has good packaging and is cheaper compared to Taj Mahal, or Tetly Tea.

It has a very enjoyable taste and you will definitely feel refreshed after having it.
