*SUBJECTIVE REVIEW
*I have tried Tetley Tea(sold in Australia as Tetley) not necessarily Tata-Tetley. I tried a couple of Tetley tea bags at a cafe area with hot water, milk as you would expect to prepare tea with bags. Also tried this at home. Same result, did not impress me, BUT THIS IS A SUBJECTIVE THING, I agree to disagree, you may have a different opinion.
If you feel Tetley in India is great, you may be right.but still read on
QUALITY COMPARISONS
Comparing this with
David Jones Premium Brand
Dilmahs premium leaf tea bags and loose leaf
Darjeeling brands
Australias Nazir brand(Ceylon, Assam, Darjeeling)
Twinnings Premium Brands(especially Indian Chai is SO correctly spiced) and loose leaf options
Other locally grown leaf brands
VERDICT
I give it the thumbs down. Heres the rationale for why; I have no apology, whatsoever, for Tetley Tea lovers. They have their choice of products like me or anybody else, but hey, **"Quality speaks for itself; Tetley just is NOT #1", so please dont kiss my * hand
TOP TEN REASONS FOR TATA TETLEY BEING GIVEN THE THUMBS DOWN:
(The following is my humorous take on Tetley)
Try some of their tea bags and use high quality natural milk.youd think the tea is great because of Tetley
Tata makes some good products; they confused Tetley with their Sumos assembly line
They replaced the Tetley tea QA manager with a guy from the TATA motors engine lubrication division
They used the wrong bags to package tea
The paper for the tea bags is not from us at TATA
Some of the tea got mixed up with some dust from our engine plants
Blame the teas bad quality on the Indian summer heat
Please do not compare us at TATA Tetley with real tea; blame it on Indians taste buds
The tea reviewer writing this article must be South Indian; he does not know ASLEE tea flavor
AND THE NO. 1 REASON WHY TATA TETLEY WILL NOT BE TOPS-
- Finally, we sawem real TEA leaves, thank you Indians for showing us at TATA the real deal!
(Next time folks please give a GREEN Tea free)
